According to blogger this is my 100th post. I don't really feel like it is though. Just because I feel like I'm just getting back into the swing of things with blogging. I mean December was the first month I really started taking it more seriously. So really I feel like this is my 40th post. But when I saw 100 I won't lie. It felt pretty good.
Today I spent 15 minutes adding to my ever expanding Valentine's decoration collection. I really don't have much in the way of Valentine's stuff. So I'm trying to add to it this year. Last week I found these cute little vases in the Target dollar bins (I'm a dollar bin fanatic). I think they actually cost $2.50. I thought they would look cute with some Pom Pom flowers in them on my mantel. There are a few different ways you can go about making pom poms, but this is the method I used. I think it's the easiest way because you just wrap the yarn around your fingers. You don't need a Pom Pom maker that costs around $7. I love the way they turned out, and they were so easy and fun to make. I love crafts (there I said it! Crafts!) that I can complete during nap time. This one I could have done several times over during nap time. It's instant gratification. I think this would be an easy one for kids to do also.
Here are a few other things you can do with yarn Pom Poms...
Make a Wreath
Make Garland. You know I love a good garland.
Use them to Wrap Gifts. She also gives a great tutorial on how to make them.
Have fun with this one! The possibilities are endless!

I was planning on making some of these pom pom flowers for Blakeley's room! So cute!
Kendra it was the most gratifying project because it was so easy! I hear Blakely's room is really cute. I bet these little flowers would fit in nicely!
